Who Are We Looking For
At PechaKucha, we believe everyone has a story worth sharing — and we mean everyone.
We’re not after polished speakers or famous faces (though they’re welcome too). What we’re really looking for is real people with real stories, told with heart, vulnerability, humour, or passion.
We want to hear from:
- Dreamers — who dared to start something, even if they had no idea where it would end.
- Doers — who rolled up their sleeves and made something happen, whether for themselves, their community, or the world.
- Reflectors — who’ve been through something hard, weird, beautiful, or transformative, and want to make meaning from it out loud.
- Misfits & Mavericks — who see the world differently and are brave enough to say it.
- Quiet Voices — who don’t usually take the mic, but have something quietly powerful to say.
We’re looking for stories that:
- Shine a light on personal growth or transformation.
- Offer a surprising perspective or a-ha moment.
- Share a behind-the-scenes glimpse into a creative process, project, or journey.
- Make us laugh, feel, rethink, or see things anew.
- Are visual, vivid, and told with authenticity, not perfection.
